Let’s talk about the weather shall we? We don’t need much of an excuse to discuss the latest heatwave with whoever’s next in line in the supermarket, or complain about how those forecasters never get it right….

Our new blog ‘Secrets of the forecasters’ will be the very place where anything weathery goes. The Weather Girls will let you into the goings on in the Weather Office upstairs, answering the questions you want to know about how we put the weather bulletins together and what information we have to decipher.

There is always something interesting going on in the world of weather, no two days are the same, no two places the same. Weather can be pretty frightening but beautiful too, with phenomena such as rainbows and haloes and lightning and tornadoes. You don’t need any qualifications to look up at the sky whether you’re a toddler or a pensioner.

So if what we blog about interests you, fantastic. Join in.
